About Us:
Money Wi$e Women™ Educational Services is a charitable organization under Internal Revenue Code Sec. 501(c)
(3). All donations to Money Wi$e Women™ Educational Services are tax-deductible.
Mission Statement:
The objective of Money Wi$e Women™ Educational Services is to educate and empower women of all ages, ethnicities and
economic backgrounds on basic financial literacy through Money Wi$e Women™ Conferences. Participants receive a
copy of the book The Money Therapist: A Women's Guide to Creating a Healthy Financial Life.
Background and Target Audience:
The target audience is women because women face financial and economic challenges. Statistics show that women are
out of the workplace an average of 15 years taking care of their families. For every year a woman is out of the
workplace, she must work five years to recover lost income, pension coverage and promotional opportunities. Approximately
50% of marriages end in divorce and women live about seven to ten years longer than men. The average widow is 58 years
old. At some point in their lives women will be the sole person responsible for their finances. Money Wi$e
Women™ Educational Services recognizes this void in the financial arena for women and targets women who typically take care of
everyone but themselves. The organization is committed to providing an educational program for women to become financially
secure before they have a personal crisis.
Goals and Objectives:
Money Wi$e Women™ Conferences are hosted in the Pacific Northwest and California. More than 5,900 women have attended
